Support that Meets People Where They Are

Kyle’s Story: Finding Calm at NEIST Playgroup

Wellbeings is CRCS’s allied health practice, providing psychology and counselling for children, young people, adults and families. By offering accessible care, the service helps people manage challenges, build resilience, and strengthen their sense of wellbeing.

In 2024–25, Wellbeings delivered 873 appointments across 933 hours of care. These sessions supported people of all ages, from children managing anxiety, to young people navigating transitions, to adults seeking clarity through therapy or assessments. Families also gained practical strategies to support their loved ones and confidence to face the future.

This year, services expanded to include ADHD and autism assessments for individuals aged six and above, building on CRCS’s existing Neurodevelopment Early Intervention Support and Training (NEIST) programs for children 0–5. For many, a diagnosis offers more than information – it provides clarity and confidence to advocate for their needs. Parents feel better equipped to have their voices heard at school or in health settings, while adults often find new understanding that helps them speak up in workplaces, relationships, and daily life.

Sharing Our Expertise Within the Sector

Finding Common Ground. Joining sector peers, Jo shared how CRCS strengthens mental health through creative, community-based approaches that prioritise connection and early intervention.
