Social groups

Meet new people, learn new skills and have unforgettable experiences in a safe and friendly environment through our Involve social support groups for seniors.

Involve seniors program

Our social groups for seniors provide a range of opportunities to build social connections within the community, learn and share skills, and improve overall wellbeing.

The schedule of activities and events is driven by the interest of group members, so you can be assured of finding something to suit your needs and interests.

Our regular schedule includes, but is certainly not limited to:

  • gym and exercise programs tailored for a range of fitness and mobility levels
  • music groups
  • creative art and craft projects
  • new skills workshops
  • movie clubs
  • walking groups
  • day tours to local attractions and surrounding regions.

All seniors are welcome, and our services can be accessed at a subsidised rate through eligible Commonwealth Home Support Packages or Home Care Packages.

The costs associated with activities vary, but are kept as low as possible.

If you are a Home Care Package (HCP) recipient, please contact our Community Care Team on 02 6278 8101 to discuss eligibility and pricing.

For more information about supports available through the Australian Government, please visit My Aged Care or phone them on 1800 200 422.
