At Capital Region Community Services, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. We believe that diversity is a strength, and we are dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusivity throughout our organisation.

We are also proud to employ a diverse team of staff members who represent a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and experiences. We believe that by embracing diversity, we can better understand the needs of our community, clients and provide the highest level of service possible.

At Capital Region Community Services, we are constantly working to create a culture of inclusion and acceptance. We believe that everyone deserves to feel welcome, respected, and valued, and we strive to create an environment where everyone can thrive. Whether you are a client, a staff member, or a member of our community, we are committed to treating you with respect, dignity, and compassion.

Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer statement

Based on the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Reporting Industry Benchmark Report for the period of 2022–23, it is evident that our organisation has made strides in addressing gender equality concerns.

The report provides a comprehensive analysis of our performance in workforce composition, gender pay gap and parental leave policies compared to our Industry Comparison Group. Notably, our average total remuneration gender pay gap stands at -4.1%, indicating a favourable position compared to the Industry Comparison Group's -14.6%.

Moreover, the benchmarking gender report highlights areas where gender segregation persists within our workforce, particularly in management roles. While there is room for improvement, we are committed to fostering a more inclusive and equitable workplace culture.

Moving forward, we will use this report to identify priorities for action as part of our gender equality initiatives and to monitor our progress relative to comparable organisations. By addressing areas of concern and leveraging best practices, we are dedicated to creating a workplace that promotes fairness and equality for all employees.
