INfant Feeding, Active Play, and NuTrition (INFANT) Program

The INFANT program is designed to equip new parents with essential skills and knowledge about healthy eating and active play for their babies. This evidence-based initiative, led by Capital Region Community Services, offers four interactive sessions at key stages of your baby’s development: 3, 6, 9, and 12 months of age.

During these sessions, you’ll learn about important topics like introducing solids, managing food refusal and fussy eating, tummy time, fun active play ideas, and how your own wellbeing influences your baby’s growth.

As part of the program, you’ll also receive free access to the My Baby Now app, packed with reliable, practical advice and tips tailored to your baby’s needs—everything from feeding strategies to active play activities.

Developed by child health experts and professionals at Deakin University’s Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition, INFANT is now available in the Canberra region.
