Conveniently located near the corner of Croobyar Road and Princes Highway, our new early learning centre in Milton is an open-planned, play-based centre that accommodates up to 35 children.
Hi, I'm Tracy Wiggins.
Having worked a variety of jobs, including as a pharmacy assistant, enrolled nurse and ambulance officer, I discovered a passion for children's services and have been in the field for over 30 years. My first role in the sector was as a cook in a preschool, but I worked my way up to managing several children's and aged community services. Throughout that time, I have attained degrees in Early Childhood and Adult Education.
I’m a daughter, sister, wife, mother of six and grandmother to seven children. I like to learn new things and challenge myself, and I enjoy walking, reading, tap dancing, playing hockey and spending time with family and friends.
I look forward to developing relationships and working with the Budawang families, Educators and children, and being in the Milton community.
Our purpose-built early childhood centre is light and airy, with high ceilings and windows placed at children’s levels.
We value relationships between peers as critical to each child, impacting their learning and development. Our shared learning environment enables children to engage in peer scaffolding and mixed-age interactions, developing empathy, gratitude and friendship.
Our environments support the many languages children use to share their thinking about the world around them. Children explore, experiment, hypothesise, reflect and plan with a wide range of open-ended materials, valuing and building their creativity and playfulness. Our play and learning environment supports children in moving freely and independently, and allow for choice throughout their day-to-day experience.
With open flow between inside and outside spaces, children can take advantage of our two large, shaded verandas and the outdoor area, which includes shade sails.
