Canberra Day Appeal 2025 Wrap-up

The Canberra Day Appeal 2025 has wrapped up for another year and we are grateful to everyone who contributed, either by making a donation or helping to spread awareness. Thanks to the generosity of our community, employees and corporate supporters, we raised an amazing $6,736.40 – an increase from $5590 in 2024. These funds will go directly towards recruiting, training and supporting more volunteer transport drivers, ensuring people in our community can get to their essential medical appointments for chronic health conditions such as cancer and kidney disease.

Canberra Day Appeal 2025

Volunteer drivers play a crucial role in providing transport for people to get to vital medical treatments. However, shortage of drivers, fuel and maintenance costs create barriers. Through the Canberra Day Appeal, CRCS is raising funds to recruit more drivers, cover fuel costs, and ensure uninterrupted access to vital care.

Celebrating Early Childhood Educators’ Day

To recognise the dedication and contributions of our amazing educators, the team at Bruce Early Childhood Centre had a memorable time celebrating Early Childhood Educators’ Day on 4 September.
Centre Director Navpreet ensured the day was special by organising a delicious spread in the staff room that included croissants, biscuits, chocolates, cupcakes and more. Navpreet also gifted each educator a personalised gift bag to show her appreciation for their hard work.
