Rugby league partnership celebration
Capital Region Community Services joins Canberra Region Rugby League in celebrating their Centenary and Season Launch.
Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) is proud to announce their partnership with Canberra Region Rugby League (CRRL) for their Centenary and 2023 Season Launch celebrations. The Centenary marks an important milestone for rugby league in the region, and CRCS is excited to be part of the celebrations and the next 100 years of the sport.
Over the past century, rugby league has been an integral part of the lives of many Canberrans. The growth of the game in the region is a testament to the commitment of clubs and their loyal volunteers. As one of CRRL’s charity partners, CRCS is dedicated to ensuring that the community is connected to the support services they need to live their best lives.
Throughout the season, CRCS will be on the sidelines talking to parents and players about their range of mental health, youth, social, and family support services. The aim is to increase awareness of how to access and engage with support when it’s needed. By working together, CRCS and CRRL are committed to supporting the wellbeing of the rugby league community and the wider Canberra region.
Heidi Prowse, Executive Manager at CRCS, said, “Congratulations to Canberra Region Rugby League on an incredible 100 years. We are excited to be part of the next 100 and to work together to ensure that everyone in the community has access to the support they need.”
Mark Vergano, CEO of Canberra Region Rugby League, said, “We are thrilled to partner with CRCS, one of our charity partners, to provide support and assistance to the rugby league community in the Canberra region. We look forward to working with CRCS to support the health and wellbeing of our players and their families.”
