Community playgroups
CRCS Families facilitate free, drop-in playgroups in locations in ACT. Playgroup are regular and relaxed opportunities for children who have not yet started school and their parents or carers to play, explore and interact with others.
Children learn through play, and Capital Region Community Services Families offer a wide variety of play experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Exploring, playing, learning, and socialising at playgroup enhances children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. Our qualified and experienced team are there to encourage children and parents/carers to enjoy playgroup and is available to support parents/carers on their parenting journey.
We are able to provide information and suggestions regarding parenting and facilitate referrals to services within Capital Region Community Services and external services if required.

- Monday (weekly), 9:30am - 11:30am - Latham Primary School
- Tuesday (weekly), 9:30am - 11:30am - Loose Parts at Belconnen Westfield
- Wednesday (weekly), 9:30am - 11:30am - Platypus Park at Ngunnawal

All playgroups run at different times and on different days, please refer to the See what Playgroups are on page for detailed information. No obligation to stay the whole time.
Registration
Community Playgroups are FREE! Registration is not required, they are drop-in sessions.
Fees
Community Playgroups are free of charge.
