A free weekly playgroup for children aged 3 to 5 years, supporting early learning, school readiness and social connection through play. 

Little Learners is an engaging playgroup designed to support your child’s early learning through play, creativity and social connection. 

Children can explore hands-on activities, practise new skills and build confidence in a welcoming group setting. 

 

What to expect 

Little Learners uses play-based learning to help children build confidence, curiosity and connection. 

Your child can take part in: 

• play-based learning 

• school readiness activities 

• social and emotional development 

• creativity and hands-on activities 

• music, movement and story time. 

 

Activities your child will love 

Activities may include: 

• Literacy — name writing, story play and rhyming games 

• Fine motor activities — craft, playdough and hands-on fun 

• Early maths — counting, patterns and shape building 

• STEM — simple experiments and creative building 

• School readiness — listening, turn-taking, routines and growing independence 

• Social and emotional skills — feelings check-ins, friendship games and calm spaces

Little Learners is a warm and welcoming space for children to learn, grow and connect with others. 

Children can explore new activities at their own pace, practise being part of a group and build skills that support their next steps in learning.
