It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cease operating National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) support coordination services by 31 May 2024.

“CRCS supports the NDIS reform agenda and the goals of an NDIS quality and safeguarding framework that supports Australians living with disability,” said Mandy Green, CEO of CRCS. “However, we are currently operating in an extremely changeable environment, including NDIS reforms, aged care reforms, and the ACT Government’s commissioning process”.

“As an organisation, we have assessed what these changes mean for the feasibility of our current programs and what our community needs, so we can ensure our focus remains on how we can contribute to achieving our vision of inclusive, connected communities within the Capital Region. Based on this assessment, as well as the uncertainty of the future NDIS framework and pricing, we made the difficult decision to cease providing NDIS support coordination services,” Ms Green said.

We have informed all of our NDIS support coordination participants of this change. We are working closely with them, their support networks, local NDIS support coordination providers, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and the NSW / ACT engagement team to ensure a smooth transition of services for all participants.

We are committed to working with our participants to support them to transition to their choice of an alternative provider that will meet their unique needs, ensure continuity of supports and have as minimal impact on participants as possible.
