Choosing an early learning centre is a big decision. Your child spends a large part of their day here, and you’re placing a lot of trust in the people caring for them. Our educators take the time to get to know your child – including their routines, preferences and culture – so they feel safe, understood and supported each day.
Here’s what you can expect from our team:
- Qualified and experienced
Caring, qualified educators with a range of knowledge and experience, from Certificate III through to Diploma and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. - Consistent relationships
Many of our educators have been with us for a long time (some for over 15 years). This means your child gets to know and trust familiar faces each day, helping them feel safe and settled. - Safe and welcoming
Our educators are warm, engaged and love what they do. They create calm, supportive spaces where your child can feel comfortable, build relationships and enjoy learning. - Celebrating diversity
Children experience different cultures through food, activities and celebrations, including Harmony Day, Holi and Easter. Our educators and families come from many different backgrounds, which children see and learn about each day. - Always learning
Ongoing training ensures up-to-date practice, regulations and child-safe standards.
The team behind our centres
Each centre is led by a Centre Director and Assistant Director who support the day-to-day running of the service and are there for both educators and families.
Our Centre Directors are part of a wider leadership team, including our Senior Manager – Education and Care. They also work closely with our governance, People and Culture team, and Child Safeguarding Manager to ensure our services are safe, high quality and well supported.
We also work closely with our Child and Family Practitioner team, so you can access additional support if needed.
At Capital Region Community Services, leadership is collaborative and focused on best practice, so your child benefits from a strong, connected team behind the scenes.
Meet our team in person
The best way to experience our centres is to visit and meet the educators who will support your child. We’d love to show you around, answer your questions and help you decide if one of our centres is the right fit for your child and family.
