Sometimes it can be hard to explain how you feel with words.

Drumming gives you another way to express yourself. You can use rhythm, sound and movement to let energy out, calm your body, focus your mind and connect with other people.

Group drumming is also a lot of fun. You get to listen, respond, make sound together and feel part of something.

Supporting your wellbeing

Bungee Rhythm to Resilience is about more than making music.

It’s about having fun, feeling connected and finding safe ways to express yourself. You’ll be encouraged to notice your strengths, try something new and build confidence through rhythm and music.

Parents and carers — what you need to know

Bungee Rhythm to Resilience is a free, three-week workshop for young people aged 10–18.

The workshop uses drumming and rhythm to support confidence, self-expression, connection and wellbeing. Young people do not need any music experience, and all instruments and materials are provided.

Sessions are led by Rav, a friendly and engaging Bungee facilitator, in a safe and supportive group environment.

Your young person may enjoy this workshop if they:

  • like music, rhythm or creative activities
  • would benefit from a positive after-school activity
  • would like to build confidence
  • find it hard to express emotions in words
  • would like to connect with others in a supported space
  • could use a fun way to manage stress, nerves or big feelings

To help us understand how the workshop is going, we may ask young people to complete a short survey before and after the program. This helps us see what is working well and how Bungee is supporting young people.

Any stories or quotes we share publicly will not include names or details that identify anyone.
