Magic Moment: Sushi-Making Workshop at Bruce Early Childhood Centre
The Toddler Room at Bruce Early Childhood Centre has recently been on a culinary expedition. The room was filled with excitement as the children participated in a mid-morning sushi making workshop.
Guided by our educators, Shirley and Hiromi, the toddlers rolled up their sleeves and got to work on creating delicious sushi rolls. The children learned about the ingredients and the process of making sushi, practicing their fine motor skills while rolling their own creations. It was an excellent opportunity for them to explore new textures and tastes.
We have to say, they were the cutest chefs in town! It was a joy to watch their delight as they crafted their roles and, like all good chefs, taste tested along the way.
After all the hard work, the toddlers enjoyed their handmade sushi for lunch. Hamish, Gabrielle, Millie, Chloe and Alexandra were particularly pleased with the delicious results.
Stay tuned for more magic moments from our Bruce Early Childhood Centre. They are thinking of trying Naan bread making next!
