Neurodevelopment Early Intervention Support and Training (NEIST)

Our intensive learning program supports children with potential or known neurodevelopmental issues, building on their strengths and interests to develop life skills.

NEIST Program Overview

Individual Intensive Learning Program (All Ages)

Our individual learning program supports children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, ADHD and other learning delays. Using each child’s strengths and interests, we focus on developing life skills. No formal diagnosis is required to join.

Sessions are flexible and can be held at home, in early childhood settings, at school or in a clinic. We personalise teaching strategies based on how each child processes information, with a focus on speech, communication, cognitive, play and social skills to help them engage in daily life, education, and social activities.

Our specialised team builds strong connections with children, working through regular one-on-one sessions and involving families every step of the way. This program may be funded through NDIS.

Playgroup (Ages Five and Under)

Our weekly playgroup is free for families and provides a variety of play experiences for children with developmental delays or early intervention needs. It offers a safe and supportive environment where children can develop their speech, cognitive skills and social skills.

Facilitated by experienced employees of CRCS, playgroup activities foster physical, emotional and social development. Each session includes themed play, sensory activities and creative crafts. Parents and carers are encouraged to join, share experiences and build connections.

Drop in on Wednesdays from 10-11:30am at Nicholls Community House — no booking required.
