Keeping our Standards High
Strong governance helps ensure people can trust CRCS to provide safe, high-quality and
accountable services.
In 2025–26, we completed more than 170 hours of quality audits, improved 200 quality documents and completed 195 improvement actions. This helped keep service quality, compliance and safety front and centre. We introduced new trauma-informed and wellbeing frameworks to help make our services safer, more respectful, more inclusive and more consistent. These frameworks give participants more choice and voice, support the whole person, and help make our services more welcoming.
We listen to participant experiences, track outcomes and use what we learn to keep improving services for children, participants, families and the wider community.
We continued to build a strong safety and risk management culture through the WHS and Wellbeing Committee, site inspections, improved safety processes, Toolbox Talks and employee training. This helped employees identify hazards and risks earlier and supported a greater focus on participant and workplace wellbeing. Feedback reporting increased strongly in 2025–26, with more than half of all feedback being positive and a record 183 compliments received. Participants continued to recognise helpful employees, responsive follow-up and good service.
We also appointed a dedicated Program Manager – Quality and Safeguarding to lead and strengthen safeguarding practices across CRCS. This role supports consistent policies, training, oversight and continuous improvement to help keep children and young people safe across our programs, services and community spaces.
Clear policies and rights statements help participants understand their choices, while accessible feedback and complaints processes provide meaningful opportunities to shape their experience.
