As Program Manager for Living Well Aged Care, Dominique (known as Domi) brings a wealth of experience and compassion to the team. With a background as a rehabilitation nurse, Domi has spent many years working with older people and encouraging them to live independently. She says she loves the caring culture found in the community services sector, and that continues to drive her work in CRCS Living Well.
What does Domi love most? “Helping people stay in their own homes longer is incredibly rewarding,” she says. And being based at the new Belconnen Community Hub has only made that connection stronger. “I love seeing people face to face and really getting to know them so we can offer the right support.”
We asked Domi for a fun fact that might surprise people. She loves to crochet in her spare time. Her mum taught her how to make a granny square 12 years ago, and she hasn’t stopped since. Domi is also kept busy as the mum of two children.
When you visit the Hub, she hopes you’ll leave feeling supported by a friendly and compassionate team who truly cares.
“Living Well gives people the chance to focus their energies on what they enjoy – and we’re here to help make that happen.”
Drop in and meet Domi and the team at the Belconnen Community Hub – Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. We’re here to help.
