The Yurwang Bullarn Strong Women's group is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women of all ages and backgrounds, including mothers, aunties, grandmothers, cousins and carers of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. It provides a safe, supportive and welcoming space to share experiences, learn from one another, build new friendships and engage in activities that promote their wellbeing.

Through its varied activities, with a focus on art and culture, self-care, health and well-being, the group provides opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women to connect with each other, their culture and their heritage in meaningful ways.

The group's art and culture activities are a highlight, offering women opportunities to explore their creativity and learn new skills.

The program provides a holistic approach to improving women's health, addressing physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

The Yurwang Bullarn Strong Women’s group is facilitated in partnership with the West Belconnen Child and Family Centre.
