Belconnen Youth Centre

Belconnen Youth Centre provides a safe place for young people (aged 10 to 25) to hang out, grab a bite to eat or chat with a youth worker. We are equipped with bean bags, board games, pool/snooker, table tennis, foosball, a reading corner, gaming consoles, computers, cooking and craft supplies, and we offer regular. organised activities. Young people can also access a washing machine and dryer, kitchen facilities, and a shower.

Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: 10am-6pm
Thursday: 10am – 6pm
Friday: 10am – 7:30pm
Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Young people can drop by and use the space either to relax, study, or catch up with our team. In the case we are offsite and the youth centre is closed, we usually post an update on our social media and have information posted on our front door. During ACT public school breaks, the Youth Services team operates the Youth School Holiday Program, which provides free activities for young people.

Covid-19 Update

The Youth Centre is excited to have its doors open again; however, we all have a role to play in responsible social distancing. Young people will be asked to use provided hand sanitiser and to sign in upon entry to the centre. We ask that everyone maintains a 1.5-meter distance and wipes down any used surfaces and equipment with provided cleaners. If you are feeling unwell please stay home.
