Belconnen Community Centre (BCC) is a busy and welcoming hub where people can join activities, access support and connect with others.
For many people, BCC is much more than a venue. It is a safe, familiar place outside home where people of all ages and backgrounds can participate, seek support and feel part of community life. Each day, people come through its doors to learn new skills, stay active, express their creativity and build meaningful connections.
BCC offers a range of affordable and accessible spaces, including a theatre, gallery, sports hall, meeting rooms and activity areas. These spaces support community groups, not-forprofit organisations, social enterprises and service providers, helping create a vibrant and inclusive hub. Throughout the year, BCC hosts theatre productions, art exhibitions, sports and dance programs, language classes, workshops and community meetings. By providing welcoming places for people to come together, share experiences and pursue their interests, BCC strengthens connection, participation and belonging across Belconnen. Sport and recreation throughout the week The sports hall is one of BCC’s most popular spaces, hosting a wide range of activities throughout the week and on weekends.
