Seasons for Growth (Adult)
Understanding change, loss and grief
Change and loss can affect everyone differently. Seasons for Growth is a small group program designed to support adults who are experiencing the effects of significant change, loss and grief.
The program provides a safe and supportive environment to explore how change has affected you, connect with others who may have had similar experiences, and develop practical skills to help you navigate life changes.
“Grieving is like being in a fog: you can’t see much, and you wonder if people can see you. Seasons for Growth helped lift the fog.”

Who is the program for?
The Seasons for Growth Adult program is for adults who are living with the effects of change and loss.
Change can happen for many reasons, including:
- The loss of someone or something you love
- Family separation or divorce
- Moving or relocating to a new place
- The impact of illness
- Migration and significant life changes
- Changes in family or work life
Change affects everyone differently, as does grief. Seasons for Growth focuses on the impact of the change, rather than the event itself.
Seasons for Growth was developed by MacKillop Family Services.
