Strengthening Participant Voice – ACPAG
Annual Report 2025 - 2026
The Aged Care Participant Advisory Group (ACPAG) gives older adults an active role in shaping CRCS Living Well services. Meeting every two months, participants share lived experience, identify improvements and influence service decisions. This supports co-design and a rights-based approach, where older adults have a voice, exercise choice and contribute to the services they use.
During 2025–26, ACPAG feedback led to a stronger CRCS employee presence at meetings, creating more opportunities to ask questions about My Aged Care, intake processes, service availability and funding limitations. Members also reported improvements in driver conduct and service following additional driver training.
The group helped shape the Living Well newsletter’s structure, content and accessibility, and informed the scheduling and promotion of Involve social groups, activities and events. These contributions show how participant feedback leads to practical improvements and keeps services responsive to participants’ interests and needs.
