Molly Havyatt: Psychologist and clinical psychology registrar

BScPsych(Hons), MClinPsych, MAPS

Molly is a psychologist and clinical psychology registrar who completed her training at the ANU as a mature-aged student. She provides clinical assessment, psychoeducation, psychological interventions and psychotherapy for a range of individual and interpersonal problems and mental ill-health.

Molly offers a person-centred, compassionate and evidence-based approach to supporting people who are experiencing stress, adjustment difficulties, impacts of trauma, grief and loss, relationship and communication issues, problem behaviours, emotional dysregulation, feelings of low self-worth, anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions.

Working collaboratively and guided by individual needs, she draws on her training and experience delivering cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT/ACT/DBT), motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapies (AEDP/Gestalt), mindfulness, and self-compassion practices. 

Molly has a special interest in attachment theory, stressor and trauma-related disorders, schizophrenia disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, emotion dysregulation and working with emotions to improve symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Molly is available four days a week and is accepting new referrals for adults aged 18+.

Dechen Choden: Social Worker

Master of Social Work, Australian Catholic University.

Dechen is a qualified Social Worker and member of Australian Association of Social Workers. She is passionate about early intervention and improving the quality of life for children and young people.

Dechen has experience working with children and young people aged seven to 25 years old at CRCS in roles as a youth support practitioner and Bungee group facilitator. She enjoys working with children and young people aged 18 and under experiencing a range of psychological and social difficulties. 

Dechen uses a range of evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She is also trained in the Cool Kids Anxiety Program.

Dechen is available four days a week.

Joanna Cole: Senior Manager

Jo Cole is a clinical psychologist, registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and a Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists.

She has over twenty years of experience working across the lifespan with personal, emotional and psychological issues that people may come across throughout their lives, including anxiety disorders, depression, life stressors, grief and loss, and adjustment to illness, including chronic illnesses. 

Jo creates a safe, compassionate and confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and concerns.  She also has extensive experience providing supervision and support to students, Provisional and Registered psychologists, and is a Psychology Board approved supervisor.

Jo uses a number of therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy in her clinical work.

She provides a warm and person-centred approach that helps you to become more self-aware and self-accepting while exploring your best path for ongoing treatment and support.

Jo works with adult clients over 18 years.
