Rachel has been employed by Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) since October 2013. Rachel began employment within the Community Care Aged Care team and transitioned to the NDIS team in 2015. Rachel provided person centred Support Coordination services for 6 years and has been employed as the NDIS Program Coordinator for the last 2 years. Rachel manages a team of 6 NDIS Support Coordinators, liaises with participants, their guardians, service providers and community stakeholders to educate and promote the NDIS Support Coordination team as well as the wider CRCS programs on offer. Rachel provides direct Intake and pathways to new NDIS participants to CRCS to begin their NDIS journey.
Favourite Colour & Why: My favourite colour is green because it is symbolic to new growth and nature, while calming & realigning my core.

Benazir has been employed via CRCS as a Support Coordinator since Nov 22. Benazir had previously been in the role of a Local Area Coordinator at Feros Care. Benazir has great understanding of NDIA funding, the building model of plans, report writing and a wide knowledge of community providers. Benazir is primarily supporting participants living with mental health illnesses and high physical disabilities support needs in SIL properties.

Alison has a wide and varying range of knowledge and understanding around all things NDIS. Alison has been employed via CRCS as a Support Coordinator for 6 years. Alison has a broad understanding of the NDIA, including SIL/SDA supports, community & allied health supports, Alison also has experience working closely with external stakeholders such as CYPS, the Office of Disability’s Integrated Service Response Program, the Department of Health, Education & Youth Justice and is primarily supporting participants living with complex needs.
Favourite Colour & Why: Purple and sparkles. Purple makes me happy and everyone needs a little sparkle in their lives.

John has been employed via CRCS as a Support Coordinator for 6 years. John has a sound understanding of all things mental health. John’s focus areas are supporting people living with mental health illnesses. John has worked with CRCS for 10+ years in mental health roles such as facilitating mental health art classes, mental health day programs as well as supporting people living in crisis due to their illness. John is primarily supporting participants living with complex mental health illnesses.
Favourite Colour & Why: Magenta because its active and positive.

Debbie has been employed via CRCS as a Support Coordinator since Nov 22. Debbie had previously been the manager of the Home Care Packages Team and a care planner at Carer’s ACT, supporting older person’s for in home supports. Prior to this role, Debbie was the My Aged Care, NDIS and Mental Health Navigator and assisted participants to obtain NDIS plans; Debbie has a wide knowledge of the ACT Community Sector spanning 10 years. Debbie is primarily supporting participants living with high physical disabilities support needs in SIL properties and participants living with psychosocial disability.
Favourite Colour & Why: Purple it is such a rich and beautiful colour.
