Family Foundations is an early intervention therapeutic program that promotes strong, secure, and healthy relationships between children aged 0-5 years and their parents/carers.
We offer a free early intervention program promoting strong, secure and healthy relationships between children aged 0-5 years and their parents/carers. We support parents and carers to build on their parenting knowledge, skills and experiences to strengthen family relationships and bonds during early childhood. We offer support through a planned series of home visits or at another appropriate venue a s needed by the families.
Our highly qualified team of social workers supports parents and carers to strengthen family relationships and bonds during early childhood.
This service provides a supportive and non-judgmental environment for parents and caregivers to explore their concerns and difficulties whilst building understanding and insights into their children’s needs. Family Foundations provides flexible options to supports that meet individual family needs. The service can also provide home visits for families that face barriers to transport.
Family Foundation’s vision is for all infants, young children, and families in the ACT to have positive parenting and early childhood experiences, as a foundation for future health, including social and emotional well-being.
